Powered by multi-award-winning Octaspring® technology, the Octasmart Premium replaces conventional metal springs with hundreds of 9cm honeycomb-shaped foam springs. Each one flexes in three dimensions, so the mattress cradles your shoulders and hips instead of pushing back against them, while the open structure lets heat and moisture escape.
Five smart body zones
Octasprings of different strengths are grouped into five zones running the length of the mattress, with firmer support under the hips and shoulders and a softer response under the head and legs. The result is a mattress that holds your spine in its natural line whether you sleep on your back, side or front.
Aerocell™ comfort with an Ecocell® base
An upper layer of open-cell Aerocell™ foam moulds gently to your shape for pressure relief with a medium to firm feel, while the Ecocell® foam base underneath gives the mattress its supportive, hard-wearing foundation.
Octavent™ air system
The open honeycomb structure of the Octasprings lets air move freely through the mattress rather than trapping it. Dormeo rate the Octavent™ system at eight times more breathable than a standard foam mattress, cooling the bed by up to 3°C so you settle quicker and stay comfortable through the night.
Smart performance cover
The knitted performance cover is quilted with comfort pockets that add a soft surface feel, and it is anti-allergenic and removable. Underneath, a base layer of Dormeo’s signature Ecocell® foam with its permanent three-dimensional cell structure keeps the whole mattress stable and supportive.
Dormeo build the Octasmart range to leave around 50% less environmental footprint than a conventional foam mattress, and the mattress is 100% recyclable at the end of its life.
